We invite you to worship with us this Sunday, the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost. The preacher will be our interim pastor, The Rev. Rob Asinger. His sermon titled: “Going Out, to Come Home.” The choir will sing “Be Thou My Vision” a traditional Irish Melody arranged by Alice Parker. Flowers on the altar are donated by Vickie Smith and the reception on Sunday is hosted by the NICA committee.
Jon Thompson, Executive Director of the Fundacion A. Jean Brugger will be in church on Sunday providing a Children’s message and Mission Moment.
NICA committee is holding an open meeting on Sunday after the reception. Hot topic will be the 2010 mission trip to Nicaragua, please stop by!
Uniforms: Please remember your children’s summer challenge money for uniforms for the children of Nicaragua. There is a collection can in the chapel or you may give your money to Wendy Donnell or any member of the mission committee.
School Supplies are now being collected for Nicaragua. There is a collection box in the chapel. Suggestions include: rulers, chalk, pencils and pens, markers, notebooks and binders, paper, staplers and staples, scissors, etc. Gently used or new backpacks, lunch bags and shoes will also be collected.
